In the village of Shevchenkove, haunting images of a shattered common space, a school, and orphanage, a house of culture, stand testament to the havoc wrought by war. Amidst this desolation, stands a local town administrator. During the peak of conflict in the region, when her village lay on the zero-line, she refused to desert her town. When her home was destroyed by the conflict, she moved underground into an abandoned old Soviet communication bunker, a stark juxtaposition of past and present. Yet, despite the shadows of her subterranean refuge, her dedication remains unyielding, working tirelessly each day to rebuild and restore hope to her community.
