On July 8th the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv was hit by a direct strike missile strike as part of Russia's large scale bombardment of Ukraine. Across the country, 31 people were killed and 125 others were injured as of the latest count of victims. These photos are from the aftermath of the strike on the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, when hundreds worked to clear the rubble in the hopes of finding anyone who survived.
Russia launched 40 guided missiles in a large scale attack across Ukraine. Over 40 people were killed. The Russian Kh-101 cruise missile was used in the hospital bombing as per Bellingcat analysis.
