A city under siege since the beginning of the war. Across the now dried out Kakhovka resevoir, from occupied cities such as Kam'yanka-Dniprovs'ka and Enerhodar, Russian forces fire relentlessly on Nikopol’s civilian population. Artillery, drones and rocket fire pound the city. In the face of this danger, local linemen with DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private energy outfit, climb to great heights to reach the damaged electrical infrastructure of the city. Up multiple stories in the air, with a background of air raid sirens and the constant percussion of incoming fire, the men work quickly and efficiently to help get the lights back on in the city.
